Burapha University is regarded as the highest potential public university offering various programs up to Doctorate Programs in the eastern of Thailand. Burapha University continuously focus on the quality assurance of our educational programs to improve quality of our graduate for serving our society and nation. One of the quality assurance procedures is the admission process. Therefore, the university’s policy for admission is to select students with good knowledge, well behalf and high ability. Also, the University aims to distribute opportunities to all students especially in the eastern region to have higher education comparable to all the others. With this important policy, the University has various projects to admit students into undergradate programs as follows:
The Received Directly Eastern Students Project. About 50% of all freshmen students could be directly selected to the undergraduate programs through the examinations given by the University. This project offers opportunities to grade12 (Matthayom 6) students from eastern coastal development area, Phase 2 total of 12 provinces, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi, Chachoengsao, Trat, Prachin Buri, Nakhon Nayok, Sa Kaeo, Samut Prakan, Ayutthaya, Lopburi and Saraburi.
The Received Directly Students across the Country Project. About 15% of all freshmen students could be directly selected to the undergraduate programs through the examinations given by the University. This project offers opportunities to all students who graduated from high school or currently study in grade12 (Matthayom 6) or equavalent.
The Central Admissions Project. About 30% of all freshmen students could enter to the undergraduate programs through the examinations given by the Commission on Higher Education Consideration.
Special Projects About 5% of all the freshmen students.
The Talented Students Nationwide Project. Eligible for students who make reputation to the country or create goodness to the society. The students can choose fields specifically announced by the University base on their academic performance.
The White Elephant Project. Elligible for grade12 (Matthayom 6) students nationwide with specialized talents. Currently, there are 3 faculties to choose; the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Fine and Applied Art and the Faculty of Public Health.
The Siam Ruby Project. Elligible for grade12 (Matthayom 6) students nationwide with specialized talents is sports, thai music and arts. This project opens 3 fields namely Health and Physical Education, Musical Drama Education and Art Education.
The Eastern Diamond Project. Elligible for grade12 (Matthayom 6) students with their parents or themselves reside on any of the following 12 provinces as shown in the domicile registration no less than 3 months. The provinces are Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi, Chachoengsao, Trat, Prachin Buri, Nakhon Nayok, Sa Kaeo, Samut Prakan, Ayutthaya, Lopburi and Saraburi.
The Expand Educational Opportunities Project in Chanthaburi Campus. Chanthaburi Campus give an opportunity for Grade12 students (Matthayom 6) who lives in the Eastern region; Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi, Chachoengsao, Trat and Prachin Buri, as shown in the domicile registration.
Burapha University also offers part-time programs for continuous graduate level and undergraduate level. For students with excellent academic performance may get the first recommenced by the Council of Faculty/College admitting into the regular program base on appropriate and vacancy.
